Nechirvan Barzani to the Kurdish weightlifting champions: All the support for your task
The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, received, today, Wednesday, eight Kurdish female weightlifters, who won first places in the Arab Powerlifting Championship, within the Iraqi national team.
The players participated in the tournament, which took place on December 26-31, in Erbil, and won a set of gold, silver and bronze medals in the tournament.
Nechirvan Barzani congratulated the players, stressing his happiness and pride in these victories, expressing all support to perpetuate their sports career, hoping for their lasting progress and success.
For their part, the players expressed their thanks and gratitude for receiving and appreciating the Kurdistan Region President for them, and stressed that this support and kind gesture will motivate them to continue and succeed and take greater steps.
